Halloween – Haunted House cards with Natalie Green (the illustrator!)

Catherine CP Designs, CPD Ink, Halloween & Fall, Videos 5 Comments

Meet Natalie!  She's the genius behind this quirky, haunted (but fun!) house we have coming out for Halloween card making this year.

She sat down for a bit of an interview, then did some stamping with me!  This is a replay of our Facebook Live.

When we were done, Natalie stayed for a while and created this…can you believe she's created less than a dozen hand made cards?  I guess when you have a creative mind like she does, it comes naturally!

Natalie told me that a card like this is what she had in mind when she illustrated this set.  The house, stairs and the fence were embossed in white on Midnight cardstock.  She sponged a sunset background, created a hill for the house to sit on and finished it off with the moon and that super cut witch.

Here's my finished card.  Mine seems a little scary, but fun at the same time.  It's kinda like a candy haunted house!  lol.

Thanks for visiting today and letting me introduce Natalie.  These products will be in the shop on Wednesday morning.  If you're a StampNation Member, you'll get to shop early on Tuesday!

  1. Hi there Catherine!! I was able to watch part of the live….and all of the replay…and it was so neat to be introduced to your new illustrator Natalie! I love the quirkiness of all these Halloween stamps/dies…and I love what you did with the cards!! So adorable! I’m not inclined to make Halloween cards…but I certainly have tons of scrapbooking to catch up on….and see lots of possibilities with these stamps/dies for making cute pages! Thanks again for all the yumminess and beauty that you bring into the crafting world!!! I can’t wait to purchase this latest release…. happy dance!!! (well sort of…. LOLOL…it’s best that I stand on both feet at the same time!!) 🙂
