Hand Made Halloween Cards with Glitter Embossing- Going Batty New Product Release

August 15 is our next product release date!  We basically have two releases rolled into one.  We have some products under the “Kind of Wonderful” release and some – HALLOWEEN!!!- products under the “Going Batty” product release.

Together, they are the Kind of Batty Release!  (which I think is rather hilarious!)

The first products I'll introduce you to are:

  • Going Batty Background Stamp
  • Everything But the Broom Stamp Set
  • Twilight Ink Pad (YES!  my friends, that perfect light grey that you've been asking for!)

Both cards have the same basic background with one difference – the color of the cardstock.  I stamped the Going Batty Background on Midnight Cardstock in WOW Embossing Ink, poured on Black Twinkle Embossing Glitter and heated it.

The second card was the exact same, except I used a a layer of Flirty Fuchsia Cardstock.

But Catherine!  You don't carry cardstock that matches your ink!

You bet I don't!  But luckily our juicy, amazing ink pads transfer ink beautifully to everything they touch (including your fingers, so be careful 😜) resulting in gorgeous matching (not coordinating – it MATCHES) cardstock for any ink color you have.

Just gently run your ink pad across White Cardstock (keep an ink refill on hand when you do this) gently and BAM!  You have matching cardstock.  I think it's pretty wonderful.

I stamped the greeting, half with Flirty Fuchsia, half with Grape Crush, cut the panel down and added the spider web and spider.   I die cut the witch's hat, stamped stars on it, colored in the band and popped it up on my card.

The next card was simple to finish off with a strip of Midnight and Tutti Frutti (can you guess how I made this?) and some die cut circles that were stamped and embellished with the fun images in the “Everything but the Broom” stamp set.

I hope you are inspired by these Halloween cards!  They are sure to brighten anyone's day!  Watch the blog, YouTube Channel, Facebook and Instagram for more peeks and reveals for this launch coming your way on August 15!

  1. These are fun cards! I think I like the bats on the black background best…although purple is my favorite color…so…they’re both great!

  2. Catherine, you just made my day. When you revealed the twightlight ink pad, I said YES out loud. The 2 ink colors I have really been hoping to see were coral and light gray. I’m so glad that you listen to us. Also, these are my kind of Halloween stamps, cute and fun. I absolutely can not wait to see what else is included in this release.

  3. Catherine, really love the new Twilight ink pad. Love both Halloween cards they are awesome and can’t see what else you going to share with this release. Oh by the way, really love the new look of your website making things much easier to use. Very well done, I’m very happy for you. Thanks for sharing another great video!

  4. I love these stamps and the cards are awesome, they almost make me want to enjoy Halloween again. I really like the purple bats but my smell my feet is my absolute favorite! I would use it all year and make a lot of people bust out in laugter for reasons that are best left unsaid. Sadly, after having to commute through Salem five days a week for the past 30+ years, I can no longer embrace Halloween. I may need that smell my feet and boot though, only fmy co-workers would get it.

  5. I absolutely love this stamp set and the batty background!!!! Love your cards too, super cute!

  6. Love this new collection! The bats on Black are my favorite but I would be thrilled to make either one!

  7. How much fun are those cards! !!! I saw Flirty Fuscia and Grape Crush on your desk now I want to make a card with those colours! !!!

  8. Love the background stamp set and the Halloween one with the little images. Love both cards and wouldn’t be able to pick a favorite. Thanks for sharing!
