Ink Layering with Faithful Flutterings by Cynde

Catherine CP Designs, Gallery, Projects

Hey folks! It's Cynde and I'm back with some more inspiration featuring the Zen Garden Collection! This card is so easy to make, it would be awesome to mass produce!

Clean and Simple Stamp Layering-1

I started with the smallest butterfly from the Faithful Fluttering Stamp Set. On White Cardstock I stamped the first layer with the gorgeous It's A Boy Ink. The next layer is Stone Blue and instead of adding another layer of color ink, I used Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Wow Midnight Dream Embossing Powder.

I really wanted to keep this panel clean and let that butterfly shine, so I simply stamped a sentiment in Midnight Ink.

I used the Stained Glass Coverplate and embossed another panel of Catherine Pooler Cardstock, then mounted it to a white card base.

To finish off my card, I added a few gemstones to make it look like they are trailing from the butterfly.

Clean and Simple Stamp Layering-3

That's it. Easy peasy.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thanks so much for stopping by!

Until next time!
