Emboss Resist Oval Shaker Card

Hello Shaker Card 2Hello friends!  When we created the Ovals and Flowers stamp set to coordinate with the Chevron Cheer stamp set, a shaker card just like this is what I had in mind!

I love the reverse scallops in this set!  They cut out on the inside of the scallop rather the outside, how fun is that?

Emboss Resist Oval Shaker Card Video Tutorial

Emboss Resist is pretty much my favorite technique.  It's easy and packs a punch.  On this card, the oval was stamped in versa mark, covered with white embossing powder, add heat and you have a fabulous embossed image.  Use ink blending tools to sponge ink over the image and watch the white embossed design appear before your eyes!

Hello Shaker Card

The “Hello” Die Cut was inked with the Daydream Ink Pad and because it stays wet for a few seconds, I was able to toss on some Wanderlust Embossing Powder and heat it….resulting in a gorgeous, embossed and sparkly word die cut.

The “there” from the Hello World Stamp Set and the “x” border from Chevron Cheer were the perfect finishing touches to the banner sentiment piece.
