Hello Everyone! It is Tracie and I am happy to be guesting with Catherine Pooler today. I have a fun card to share with you using The World Awaits stamp set.
I am a new creative team member, so please allow me to get a little mushy for my first time here. Being a new creative team member inspired me to create this card. I am so grateful about this adventure and am having so much fun. Catherine and her team are out of this world, amazing! The StampNation community is absolutely fabulous.
And so the adventure begins…..The adventure begins in Raleigh, NC, the home of Catherine Pooler Designs. Catherine's supporters are worldwide, as this map shows. I am looking forward to learning more about all of you and I hope to inspire you. If you are not a StampNation member, what are you waiting for? Do not worry, I adore you too!
To make this card I started by trimming a piece of Smoke cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11 inches, scored it at 5 1/2 and folded in half. Next, I trimmed a piece of premium white cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4 inches for the panel. The world was stamped in Juniper Mist ink and then I took a Copic N1 marker and colored the outside perimeter of the world.
I applied Copic colorless blender to a rag and dabbed on the colored area of the panel to create texture. I stamped the sentiment and heart arrow using Midnight archival ink, then die-cut a small heart and colored it with Be Mine ink. I also added some glossy accents to the heart (allow for drying time before adhering it to the panel.) I just assembled the rest of the pieces and my card was complete.
Kind Thanks, Tracie
Catherine here…wow, Tracie! What a sweet post…I am humbled! It is an absolute HONOR to have you on our Creative Team! HUGS!
