Sparkle Embossing and Brusho We have been Heatin' It Up all summer long here on my blog and over at StampNation.  We've been exploring tons of different ways to use Heat Embossing techniques on your projects, I can't believe there are so many ways!  The Heat It Up event officially “ended” last week, but I just can't stop!

Let's take Heat Embossing – in gold glitter YUM!!!- and pair it with watercoloring with Brusho. Brusho powder is a bit like magic and you get something different every time.

How you use Brusho is completely up to you!  I could have let it dry right after sprinkling the powder, or I could have left the background darker, or I could have added more color.  I had fun and I really like the resulting look.

I cut the technique piece down about 1/2 – 3/4 of an inch, mounted it on black cardstock and added mounting tape so the layer would pop up.

To the card base, I added a strip of glitter paper for some extra sparkly awesomeness!

The sentiment finished it off and I'm ready to make someone's day!

You can tell in the video that I am not a “trained fine artist” since I didn't know how to pronounce some of the color names, lol!Sparkle Embossing and Brusho 2

Just look at that sparkle!

That Facetime call that so rudely interrupted my stamping?  Yeah, it was my dear, sweet friend, Laurel Beard.

She DID have something important to tell me!  Kristie Goulet was visiting her!

Hope you're inspired today!  Have a fabulous one.
