Catherine Pooler is the owner and founder of StampNation. In the 6 years since StampNation has opened its doors, Catherine has posted more than 500 exclusive video tutorials on the site. These videos range from clean and simple cards to home decor and everything in between.
Her teaching style and clear, concise explanations make even the most difficult of techniques seem easy. Her fun personality has members laughing and wanting more.
Catherine’s knowledge of stamping products continues to grow with the industry. She stays apprised to new products and trends by attending events like Creativation and brings all of this knowledge back to the community of StampNation. Catherine is truly an expert in the field.
It’s obvious that Catherine is a life-long crafter, a talent she inherited from her mom, an extremely talented seamstress who encouraged her to dabble in all kinds of crafts as a child. She began scrapbooking as a Senior in high school and got “serious” about it after her first child was born.
StampNation is not only a paper crafting community, but a place to make friends and to thrive as women. Membership extends worldwide, currently in over 40 countries!
Maureen Merritt, an accomplished clean and simple designer, is the Design Team Coordinator and runs the Clean and Simple (CAS) Classroom at StampNation. Maureen has written over 50 lessons exclusive to StampNation members. She breaks down design elements and helps members achieve perfect placement, balance and flow. Maureen continually pushes members to become more confident in the CAS style.
Maureen began paper crafting in 2003. Her love of photography piqued an interest in scrapbooking, which ultimately led to stamping and card making. That is where she found her passion.
Maureen’s creations have been seen on the pages of Paper Crafts and CARDS Magazines. She has designed for many challenge blogs and a number of stamp companies over the past 5 years including Lil’ Inker Designs, WPlus9 Design Studio and Penny Black. Maureen is currently designing for StampNation and Catherine Pooler Designs.
Kristie Goulet has been a paper crafter since 1998 when she decided to purchase some stamps, inks, and paper to make her own Christmas cards. That was just the beginning of her wonderful journey with card making.
After three years of writing Spotlight on Trends Articles for StampNation, Kristie decided to start a new classroom feature, Uniquely Stamped. In her tutorials, Kristie takes one stamp and shows us many different ways to use it.
Not only is Kristie extremely talented, but she is warm, caring and helpful. She is an essential part of our team and the community of StampNation. Outside of StampNation, Kristie has designed and guested on many design teams including Merry Monday and Clearly Whimsy Stamps.
Heather brings fresh and fun ideas to StampNation and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She has flourished since joining the Design Team and takes her role seriously. She is dedicated to the community and growth of StampNation.
In Heather’s Classroom, “Heather Creates” she shows us how to find inspiration for our card making from the world around us. Paper crafting isn’t Heather’s only passion, she also makes beautiful quilts as well. We are lucky that she shares her “Creative Blessings” at StampNation.

Laurel Beard lives in Northern Florida with her husband and two children. She is afraid of heights, but married to a pilot. She is short, loves to laugh, loves Apple products and is not ashamed to admit she is a huge fan of the Harry Potter series.
She began paper crafting in 2005 and defines herself as a techique-based clean and simple designer. She loves to share her projects on her blog and other social media outlets. She currently designs for StampNation, Catherine Pooler Designs, Ellen Hutson, The Ton and CAS-ual Fridays. When she is not crafting, Laurel enjoys spending time with her family and friends
Lisa Harrolle has been designing for StampNation since the Fall of 2015. Her projects are always impeccable and she manages to use products in the most unexpected ways! Though Lisa loves working with stamps, ink and all of the wonderful watercolor techniques, her real love is die cutting.
Lisa started paper crafting about 11 years ago. Like many of us, she began with scrapbooking and slowly evolved into what has become her favorite hobby, stamping and card making.
On top designing for the StampNation Dream Team, Lisa designs for Catherine Pooler Designs, CAS-ual Fridays and The Ton.
Ingrid Blackburn, a long time member and extremely talented paper crafter, joined our team in November of 2015.
Ingrid began her paper crafting obsession in 1994. She began teaching scrapbooking in local stores in 2001 and card making in 2002. She continued as a Paper Crafting sales person and private instructor until 2013. In 2013 Ingrid began teaching online classes to students around the world as well as sharing card tutorials on her YouTube channel.
Ingrid began her professional career in the hospitality industry as a restaurant manager and trainer. She left for the colorful world of Paper Crafting permanently in 2002 and hasn’t looked back since!
Melissa Miller became a StampNation member in 2015 and quickly became an active member of our community. We just knew Melissa would be an asset to our team! Melissa joined us as a Guest Designer in the Fall of 2016 and just recently became a StampNation Dream Team member.
Melissa is originally from Tennessee, but currently lives in the Los Angeles area. She started paper crafting in 2003 after being introduced to card making by her best friend. In addition to card making, Melissa enjoys other crafting hobbies including cross stitching, knitting, and crochet. She is also an avid reader and loves to travel.In addition to her time spent at StampNation, you can find Melissa’s work on her blog as well as on Facebook and Instagram as @MelsCardCorner.
Taheerah Atchia, a self proclaimed “geek who likes to make stuff” lives in the UK with her adorable cats, and works in IT, building and testing software. Taheerah is a scientist at heart (she has a degree in Astrophysics), but has always also been creative. She likes to balance all the technical, thinking work she does in her day job with doing something with her hands at night, which is where crafting comes in!
Taheerah loves combining designs and products in think-outside-the-box ways, as well as mixing it up with a varied style and capitalizing on the latest trends. Her career in papercrafting has seen her work published in a number of magazines. She has designed for top stamp companies including Winnie & Walter, CAS-ual Fridays and Pinkfresh Studio and guested with so many companies we couldn’t begin to include them all here. We are lucky that she has added StampNation to that prestigious list!
Chrissie Tobas has been involved with some aspect of art her entire life. She graduated from a national Art school with honors and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications. She works full time as a Graphic Designer/Pre-Press Operator at a small print company. Chrissie has served on a number of design teams over the years. Currently she designs for Crafter’s Companion, Therm O Web, Spectrum Noir and StampNation.
Deepti Stephens is a passionate YouTuber and cardmaker living in a very small town called Chittoor, India. She started her paper crafting journey in 2011 and has since made it her profession. Deepti currently designs for Sizzix, Mudra Craft Stamps, The Craft Shop and StampNation.
Lydia Evans, mum of two, lives in a village in North Wales, UK. She’s been crafting for as long as she remembers, but only got into stamping about four years ago. Lydia currently designs for CAS-ual Fridays, Winnie & Walter, Altenew and StampNation.
