Meet the StampNation Dream Team

Pooler0155-Editsmall2 Catherine Pooler is the owner and founder of StampNation. In the 4 years since StampNation has opened its doors, Catherine has posted nearly 500 exclusive video tutorials on the site. These videos range from clean and simple cards to home decor and everything in between.
Her teaching style and clear, concise explanations make even the most difficult of techniques seem easy. Her fun personality has members laughing and wanting more.

Catherine’s knowledge of stamping products continues to grow with the industry. She stays apprised to new products and trends by attending events like CHA and brings all of this knowledge back to the community of StampNation. Catherine is truly an expert in the field.

It’s obvious that Catherine is a life-long crafter, a talent she inherited from her mom, an extremely talented seamstress who encouraged her to dabble in all kinds of crafts as a child. She began scrapbooking as a Senior in high school and got “serious” about it after her first child was born.

StampNation is not only a paper crafting community, but a place to make friends and to thrive as women. Membership extends worldwide, currently in 30 countries!

Maureenpic-234x300 Maureen Merritt, an accomplished clean and simple designer, is the Design Team Coordinator and runs the Clean and Simple (CAS) Classroom at StampNation. Maureen has written over 50 lessons exclusive to StampNation members. She breaks down design elements and helps members achieve perfect placement, balance and flow. Maureen continually pushes members to become more confident in the CAS style. Her monthly tutorials are now in video format.

Maureen began paper crafting in 2003. Her love of photography piqued an interest in scrapbooking, which ultimately led to stamping and card making. That is where she found her passion.

Maureen’s creations have been seen on the pages of Paper Crafts and CARDS Magazines and she has designed for a number of sites over the past 5 years. Currently Maureen designs for Lil’ Inker Designs, WPlus9 Design Studio, Penny Black and of course, StampNation.

kristie Kristie Goulet helps StampNation stay on top of trends with her bimonthly Spotlight on Trends articles.

Her articles show multiple ways to use current industry trends in our paper crafting. Each article contains numerous samples and is jam packed with inspiration!

Kristie has been a paper crafter since 1998 when she decided to purchase some stamps, inks, and paper to make her own Christmas cards. That was just the beginning of her wonderful journey with card making.

Not only is Kristie extremely talented, but she is warm, caring and helpful. She has become an essential part of our team and the community of StampNation.

heather When Heather North joined StampNation three years ago, we were delighted by her talent.

Heather brings fresh and fun ideas to StampNation and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She has flourished since joining the Design Team and takes her role seriously. She is dedicated to the community and growth of StampNation.

In Heather’s Classroom, “Heather Creates” she shows use how to find inspiration for our card making from the world around us. Her video tutorials are posted once monthly.
Paper crafting isn’t Heather’s only passion, she also makes beautiful quilts as well. We are lucky that she shares her “Creative Blessings” at StampNation.

Allison Allison Cope also joined us as a guest designer and quickly found her way into the heart of StampNation.

Not only is she an amazing designer, but she is full of knowledge, she’s active on the site and always has an encouraging word for her fellow stampers.

Allison has been paper crafting for 9 years and stamping for about 8. She is lucky enough to be a stay at home Mom where her husband wholeheartedly supports her papercrafting.

Allison’s launched a Let’s Talk Sketches program in which she takes one sketch and interprets it three ways.  This is a great learning resource for our members.

We are lucky to have her talent along side us on the StampNation Design Team.

attachment Lisa Harrolle won us over with her creativity in the StampNation challenges and with the Stamp of Approval Friendship Collection.   Her projects are always impeccable but what impressed us most is how she always manages to use products in unexpected ways!  We are lucky that she has joined our team.

Lisa started paper crafting about 11 years ago.  Like many of us, she began with scrapbooking and slowly evolved into what has become her favorite hobby, stamping and card making.

Though Lisa loves working with stamps, ink and all of the wonderful watercolor techniques, her real
love is die cutting.  If you spend some time on her blog, you’ll see some of the amazing things she creates with dies.
