BTW- thanks to everyone that e-mailed me about PC vs. Mac…seems like there are a lot of Mac groupies out there and I may become one of them shortly!  I’ve been arguing with my computer with two hours this morning.  I have no audio, can’t open photoshop, and it keeps freezing up.  So if you don’t hear as much from me for the next few days/week, you’ll know why!

Be sure you like my page on Facebook, I can post there from my phone, and I have some great projects to share there.  The photos might not be stellar, but the projects are!

If you are not subscribed to my newsletter, you’ll want to get on it!  The 12 Weeks of Christmas begins soon…

Mass Producing Birthday Cards Video Tutorial

Hello Friends!  If you have checked my blog recently, you know I was a bit under the weather on Friday.  I’m recovering from my cold, but it didn’t completely hold me down this weekend.  We were able to go to the lake for a bit with some friends and had a dandy time!  There were seven girls in our group and we spent some time with another family on the lake who had, get this, two daughters of their own.  Nine girls.

We had great fun tubing, boating, swimming, biking and golf carting.  Here are the nine beauties, ages 5 – 13.  My three are standing (our friends are in the matching bathing suits).  Aren’t they darling?

I hope you did something fun this weekend…and according to my facebook page, lots of you were stamping!  Awesome!

On to the stamping….I make all the birthday cards for the teachers at Sycamore Creek Elementary School, and they have been running low.  I usually make a lot of my cards with a birthday greeting and every couple of months, I send a batch.  Well, I didn’t have many on hand, so I got busy mass producing birthday cards!

View the video to pick up some tips on mass producing cards quickly and leave me a comment letting me know if you enjoy this sort of tutorial, or if you like the more complicated cards better.  Or maybe you like a mix!  I would love to know!

This card is very basic if you want to make a lot, or change up and/or add a million different details to make this card an incredible work of art.

Stay tuned! I have another set of mass produced birthday cards with a masculine theme and one with some fun stamping coming up.

Stampin’ Up Perfectly Preserved Masculine Card Making Video Tutorial

Hello Friends!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  We spent the first half of the weekend working and the second half of the weekend playing!  A great mix…and today we sent Anna out the door to seventh grade.  Wow.  Now I’ve got just two weeks to buckle down and work my tail off before the little girls track out!  Aaahhhh, the schedules.

On to the stamping!  Today I decided to do a bit of Masculine Card Making and have a video tutorial for you.  What do you think?  I seem to get a lot of great comments when I make masculine cards because of the lack of ideas out their for men, so I do believe I am going to start making more masculine cards..  I hope you like this one!

Since getting this jar from the Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set, I am always thinking of different, fun things to put into the jar.  How ’bout golf balls?  They are really easy to make…view the video to see how the whole card was done.  If viewing in a feed, click the title of this post to view online.

Perfectly Preserved Video Series #4: Let’s Go Vintage Video Tutorial

When is the last time you were elbow deep in paper, ribbons, ink pads and stamps?

For me, it was about 30 minutes ago and I’m happy as a clam right now.  It had been over a week since I had stamped anything and now I’ve stamped three days in a row!  WOOHOOO!!!

I am on a roll and loving every minute of it.  Five videos, eight cards total and WOW!  Lots of fun!

Today’s card is another one in the Perfectly Preserved series.  I’m calling this #4, but truly there have been more than four already.  If you just scroll through this page and then next on my blog, you’ll find a few more fun ideas using this product bundle.  Read to the end for information on getting your very own.

StampNation Members have a few other video tutorials with this bundle….it’s a full out Perfectly Preserved Pahr-tay!

This video tutorial is a bit longer than my normal.  Probably because there is a lot going on here!  My very favorite part of the card is the label.  I made it using the Label Framelits and cutting it twice.  View the video to see what I mean.
