Stamping and Negative Die Cuts – video tutorial

Graduation Day We did it!  We have a high school graduate!  Raising this amazing person has been the biggest joy and challenge of my life.  And I wouldn't trade one second of it! She'll be off in the fall to UNC Chapel Hill to major in Biology and Spanish and I just can't wait to watch her make her mark on the world.

In this video, I made a card for my girl and with all the activity, hustle and bustle, can you believe I misplaced it!!!  I have piles of cards in my home office and my office office and I know that card (and the other one I made in this video) are around here somewhere!  I suppose a few months from now I'll come across it and I'll pop it in the mail to her.  (Pop it in the MAIL!!!???  sigh….that will take some getting used to!).

Stamping and Negative Die Cuts2

Without further ado, this video has three different ways to use the die cut from Faithful Flutterings and stamp in the negative space.

For the first card, I'll use my MISTI Stamp Positioning Tool to do some of the stamping and you'll see why I needed it for this card.

Even though the Hello/Hola Amigo card is sentimental, I think my favorite card of the three might be the floral bouquet stamped inside the butterfly.

Once you watch the video, leave me a note (cause I made two of these!) and let me know if you like this one that's a bit more Clean and Simple, or do you like the added Black Tie Gala Patterned Paper and the twine?

Congratulations Catherine to you and your girl – that is a big accomplishment. I love your faithful fluttering butterflies and my favorite card is the one with the doodle background in it.

I like them al, but I do like the version with the Black Tie Gala paper and twine best. Congrats on your daughters graduation.
