Sending Sparkling Love with Laurel

Hi there everyone! Laurel Beard here today with you all sharing this very sparkly card using the Love Grows stamp set from the Zen Garden Collection!

IMG_6810wtmk To create this card is so easy, I’m almost embarrassed to share it with you all. I stamped various images around the edge of a 4.25×5.5 card base using Catherine Pooler inks (of course because they are amazing)…. Then I stamped the love sentiment from the same stamp set in midnight ink. Now its time for the sparkle! Can you see it? Sparkle is sooo hard to capture on camera… It’s like we created our own glittered patterned paper….

To achieve the sparkle, I applied a heavy coating of Glass Bead Glitter Gel over the top. It goes on white and you might freak out thinking you ruined your project, but I promise you didn’t. It dries completely clear and SPARKLY!!!! And it doesn’t rub off, which is a HUGE fist bump in my book! I finished it off by added the small sentiment strip with foam tape and voila……

Thanks so much for joining us today!!!!

From CP- I was so inspired by this card, I grabbed my Glass Bead Glitter Gel and went to work.  I have two tutorials coming next week!  One for the blog and one for StampNation!  Can’t wait to share.
