Zen Garden Release Day 4: Stained Glass Coverplate and Faithful Flutterings

Today is our last and final blog hop day celebrating the Zen Garden Release!  It’s been a fabulous week of inspiration, hasn’t it?  We’ll be announcing the winners of the blog hops on Monday, so there is still time to comment on the blogs.  We’re giving away two sets of Zen Garden inks for each blog hop day!  YAY!

Today we are featuring the Faithful Flutterings Stamp Set and the Stained Glass Coverplate.

Faithful Flutterings and Stained Glass coverplate

The Stained Glass Coverplate is going to make so many of your card making projects that much more awesome and the Faithful Flutterings set is going to be a go-to Butterfly set!

With our new set of 8 ink colors in the Spa Line, there are so many layering possibilities with these butterflies!!  I’ve done quite a bit of stamping with them and the spa inks…check it out.

Zen Garden and Paradise Found

All these layering possibilities and I haven’t even used the Party Collection with them yet…but just look at how great this looks in the Spa Line of colors in their muted tones…

For both of these cards, I swiped my ink pad across a card layer for a really cool background.  I layered the Stained Glass Coverplate over it for a simple and stunning technique piece.

The top card is Shea Butter, Sauna, Polished and Mandarin Spice.  Bottom card is Stone Blue and Skylight.

If you want to see the layering of these butterflies in action, check out this video and this YouTube Live (stamping begins at 9:00).

Faithful Flutterings The sentiment here – well, the photo doesn’t do it justice!!! – I die cut white cardstock, tapped it on my Daydream ink pad, then quickly poured Wanderlust Embossing Powder over it.  I heated it and it because a gorgeous Daydream, glittered sentiment embellishment!  Love how this looks!

Here is our final Blog Hop list, get inspired and leave comments!  Good Luck!

This is my all time favorite blog hop. The products are fabulous and the designers out did themselves! A joy to see everyone’s creations.

So many beautiful creations in the four day Blog Hop. Thank you for sponsoring it.
I really love to see a little texture in the blue background card; absolutely gorgeous. I anticipate that was either a light hand or the ink pad was a little less moist.
The collection is so glorious and I anticipate that you all have been very busy with orders. Congratulations on such a successful release.
