Emboss Resist Save the Youtuber 3 On to my favorite technique…I love the Emboss Resist Technique and WOW!  Does it look awesome with the Doodle Garden Background Stamp or what?  View the video tutorial to see how this was done:

The emboss resist technique is easy!  Stamp your image in Versamark ink.  Pour on White (or Clear) Embossing Powder, heat.  Then sponge ink over your embossed design and watch the embossed image resist the ink and stay white!

  • Vicki Smith February 12, 2018, 11:15 am

I’ve been a subscriber for a long time and I love your ink pads. My favorite technique is layering floral dies on a card. The Zen Garden collection is stunning!

Loving the new colors (especially the lighter purple!) and also that background stamp…it’s perfect for the emboss resist technique! Beautiful cards Catherine!! :0)

  • Tracy S Parks February 12, 2018, 4:47 pm

Emboss resist. Learned the technique from you a few years ago and still my favorite. Thanks

  • Diane Durbin February 12, 2018, 6:28 pm

The new background stamp caught my eye immediately. Love it with the blended colors. I don’t have a favorite technique, but I do want to do the emboss resist with this background.

  • Sharri R February 12, 2018, 9:07 pm

Right now, my favorite technique is to layer word diecuts to give them more dimension.
Love the look of your inks, looks like they work really well and the colors are wonderful. Would love to win a couple so I can try them out.

  • Ginger February 12, 2018, 9:33 pm

Hello Catherine, already a follower and buyer and watcher of your brand. My favourite techniques are resist embossing ( not that I’m any good at it ) and distress ink blending ( & I’m useless at that but trying)

  • Deborah Kaye February 13, 2018, 10:24 am

  • Jenny del Castillo February 13, 2018, 10:36 am

Hi Catherine, Excellent cards with gorgeous colors, my favorite technique is with clear embossing powder plus inking.

  • Janie Sirak February 13, 2018, 11:37 am

Love your whole line. My fav technique ( today) is heat embossing. Beautiful cards!
