SOA_LITA_BlogHop1 Welcome to the third and final day of Blog Hops celebrating the Love is in the Air Stamp of Approval Collection!   What incredible inspiration we’ve had over the past few days.

The inspiration won’t stop here, though…TONIGHT is our PJ Release Party at StampNation and we are scurrying around the office getting ready.  I’ll be bringing in some White Chicken Chili for the team, I hear Jenny is bring S’mores (be still my heart…S’mores are one of my favorite things!) and we’re getting our jammies ready!

What do we do during our Live Streams?

We’ll chat, answer questions, have some trivia (and prizes!), stamp and send StampNation Members the super-secret early ordering link.

If you’re not a member yet, now is a perfect time to join, especially because right on the heels of the SOA launch, we’ll be celebrating our 7th Birthday at StampNation!   To celebrate our birthday, we have a Birthday card class planned with some of our favorite companies where you’ll get ahead this year.

THINK:  you’ll have all your birthday cards for the year already made by the end of the event – more details coming!

Now onto the projects!

LITA The World Awaits Watercolor Strip Remember my Emboss Resist Inlaid Die Cut card from the first day of blog hops? I stamped with the flowers from the World Awaits Stamp Set and embossed a full card size piece of watercolor cardstock, then die cut it with the stitched rectangle die from the Postage Stamp Dies and the remaining unused bits were laying on my desk.

I thought, Hey!  I can scribble some color on that with my Zig Markers, spray it with water and let it do it’s thang!  The resulting technique piece was a great accent for this black and white card.  Clean and Simple with a great pop of color!

I die cut the Postage Stamp Die, laid the watercolor strip over it and estimated where I would stamp the two flowers in black.  I didn’t get them lined up perfectly, but they are close enough to give the feeling of  being an extension of the stamps on the watercolor strip!

The greeting is from the Bon Voyage Stamp Set and a few sequins strategically placed to cover a smudge or two and I’m done!

LITA Love and Kisses This card is fairly simple.  I arranged the greeting from the Love is in the Air Stamp Set on my craft mat, then picked it up with a large block.  I inked it with Rockin’ Red and It’s a Girl, blending the two in the middle and stamped.  Then, I added that cutie little heart in the middle of the arrow and colored it in with my Spectrum Sparkle Pen.

LITA Love You Clean and Simple My final card is CLEAN AND SIMPLE to the Nth degree!  A simple white card base, the smallest Postage Stamp Die, the little heart starburst from Bon Voyage Accoutrements Dies (add-on for this SOA Collection) and the Love You from The World Awaits Stamp Set.

I sponged my cardstock with It’s a Girl Ink, then cut out the starburst.  A little sequin behind the postage stamp die cut and we’re done!

Just a recap, this collection includes:

  • Four stamp sets (one 6 x 8 and three 4 x 6)
  • Three sets of dies (one full layering set, a greeting and an accent piece)
  • Brand new, never seen before ink pad!
  • Project Guide Download

The retail value of these products, purchased individually would be $125 (not including the Project Guide!).  The Stamp of Approval pricing is $97.

Add-on products that can be ordered:

  • Love is in the Air Dies
  • Bon Voyage Accoutrement Dies
  • Mystery Ink Refill

We have a few new products being added to our shop:

  • Round Block – our exclusive design!

Lovely cards. I like how the SOA releases their product all coordinated and this plans so you aren’t stumped.. such a great idea. So glad I might get a kit

I love seeing CAS cards on bloghops. I sometimes get so caught up in all the things I can do, I forget that images can stand on their own and make for lovely cards as is. It takes seeing them from the pros to remind me that you don’t have to throw every embellishment you own on a card to make it good. So thanks for the reminder, and thank you for putting together a truly fantastic kit!

Thank you, Catherine, for all you do. The inspiration you provide with the blog hops and project guides is invaluable.

  • Sarah Greber January 10, 2018, 9:59 pm

I’m kind of late to some of the blog hopping fun, but I still wanted to make sure I looked through all of them. I love seeing what everyone does with the supplies. What a great SOA collection! Day #3 is always packed full of awesomeness. I can’t wait to leave some love for the designers tonight.

  • Kris Reeves January 11, 2018, 12:30 am
