Finding Inspiration

finding inspiration One of my favorite ways to take time for myself and get recharged is to go places where I’ll be inspired…and one of my favorites is wandering the aisles of a local fabric store. I love getting lost in the colors, the patterns, and the moods of these gorgeous works. And sometimes I get new product ideas while I’m there!

If you don’t have a fabric store nearby, try any retail store!  Peruse the clothing or home decor sections (think towels, bedspreads and pillows!!) to get inspired.

Where do YOU go to be inspired? Share in the comments!

(Pssst…there’s still time for you to participate in our Self-Care Weekend! Post a picture of how you’re getting a little self care this weekend with the hashtag #CPSelfCareWeekend – each post enters you to WIN a gift certificate to our shop! Ends Monday at 1pm EST.)

We’ll hit the ground running Monday morning, all refreshed and recharged from the weekend and we’ll be ready to share our new ink collection with you – hits the shop on November 14!

Now you’re wandering in MY territory – fabric shops! Most specifically, quilt shops for me. Fondling fabric is something I’ve done for decades and decades, and it still relaxes me.
