Prominent Sentiments with Ingrid Blackburn

Hi, It’s Ingrid here today.  The sentiments in the Beautiful You stamp set have such a beautiful graphic quality to them. Try having them take a prominent place on your project for a different look.
Beautiful-You-Ingrid-Blackburn
Stamp the beautiful you sentiment at varying starting points over the left 1/3 of your card base. It’s easiest to start at the top and work your way down.
Stamp and watercolor your flowers and greenery using the new Spring Fling ink collection on Bristol Smooth paper by Strathmore.
To create a watercolor paletter, smoosh your ink pads into an acrylic block and lightly spritz. Keep your painting loose and effortless. Fussy cut out your images.
You can view Catherine’s card and video watercoloring these flowers HERE.
Beautiful-You-Ingrid-Blackburn-Sneak Arrange your floral spray to the right side of your card. Add a black strip, stamp your sentiment once more, add a few sparkling clear sequins and you’re all set!
I hope you are inspired to have your sentiments take center stage!

Ingrid, I just love your card showing the repeated sentiment stamped on the side. I’ve never seen this before. In fact, I love just about everything you do. Can you please come to my house and sit beside me in my huge craft studio and teach me everything you know about card making. I’m kidding of course but it’s a really good dream of mine. Keep up your fantastic work, I’m glad you are on CP design team as I learn a lot from both you and her.
