Embossing Paste with Stencils with The Perfect Reason SOA

Embossing Paste and Stencils 2 A few weeks ago, I hung out with y’all on Facebook Live and had some fun with SMOOSHING and the Perfect Vine Die.  Oh, goodness, how much fun can you have with this technique and this die!!!???

What is smooshing?  It’s when you apply ink from an ink pad to a slick surface like a craft mat or an acrylic block, spritz a bit of water onto the ink puddle and “smoosh” your cardstock onto it.  You will get a different look every time and it’s very fun and you’ll get very cool results!

You can view the Facebook Live here to see how to do it and also take a peek at the different colored vines I had.  Which one would YOU have chosen?

Adding another vine cut out of vellum behind it adds a bit of extra interest and oomph.

I had a couple different background pieces and this fun technique piece.  I used the Mod Squared Stencil with embossing paste, then added some glitter to it which adds amazing texture!

As always, beautiful! I really like the blue/green/white. I wonder what other color combos I can get into! :)
