In case you didn’t know… StampNation ROCKS my world!  Let me tell you why!

The SN family has been busy crafting and sharing loads of lovely creations and our Dream Team has been rocking the house with new tutorials!

Look at this beautiful sampling of member cards.  These folks are full of talent and bring an amazing mix of style, experience, and personal flair to every project they share!

New tutorials go up most every Monday and Friday, so the resources are endless!

This week, we kicked off our Card Candy Swap and I did a video explaining and making my samples!  We also enjoyed tutorials from Dream Team Members Deepti Stephens and Taheerah Atchia on tone-on-tone backgrounds and ideas for using dies as stencils.

We are pretty proud of our SN family too.  The site is amazing because of the men and women who contribute every day.  This week we shared a Member Highlight featuring one of our members from the other side of the globe.  Aussie, Tristan, has been an active SN member since 2013.  Check out what Tristan had to share…

SN: Tell us a little about you!

I’m a full-time working mum and have a 10 year old daughter. I’ve just taken on a Manager role and I work within the learning function of the largest Financial Services company in Australia. I’m about to have a very BIG birthday this year, which I’m not really ready to have (I’ll be 50 in August)  See I’ve written this in small text so as if it’s not really happening! I’ve been with my hubby for nearly 20 years, only 9 married and he’s my best friend. We have one ginger cat, Oscar, 2 bunnies Bugsy & Rosie, a few fish and some shrimp – so rather a busy household.

SN: How did you get started stamping?

I started stamping as I was sick of the poor selection of greeting cards that were unique and specific to the person and stamping filled that void for me. A friend then got me into Stampin’ Up and I haven’t looked back.

SN: What is your favorite part of SN?

I discovered Catherine and Stamp Nation in a round about fashion via YouTube and it was like I’d found home. I have many favourite parts of SN – friendships, techniques, ideas and inspiration – sorry I know this wasn’t just 1 – I am a fits and spurts type of crafter, so having access to SN to view and play along when ever I have the time and urge has been a major plus

SN: If you were stranded on a crafting island with paper, scissors, stamps and adhesives what other crafting tool could you not live without?

If I was stranded on a crafting island with paper, scissors, stamps and adhesive; I would also have to have my Zig markers – they are so versatile that I can do precision colouring, dramatic water colouring, smooching and splatters.

These are just a few of the highlights of all StampNation has to offer.  So now you might have a better idea of why it rocks my world!

If you have yet to join us at StampNation, you’re missing out!
