Catherine Pooler Ink Party Collection Release Blog Hop

newink-availablenow Today is the day!!!

It’s been one year, almost exactly, since I started working on my dream of inks a reality.

It’s been an amazing journey…mostly awesome…with a sprinkling of really hard days where I’ve either been banging my head against the wall, or a sobbing heap in the corner.

The day is finally here, you all have been so amazing and excited and the first stampers that have used our inks have given them rave reviews!  So all this goodness definitely outweighs the tough parts of bringing this gorgeous rainbow to market.

May I introduce you to the first 12 colors (plus midnight!)…the Party Collection of Ink Pads!

Much of this is covered in the video, but here is a run-down!

What is great about these inks?

  • Color coordination will be a snap!  Our first collection, the Party Collection is made up of all vibrant, saturated colors that will go together perfectly.  No more guessing which color goes with which!
  • No more splotchy images!  Two or three gentle LOVE TAPS are all you need to get full coverage on your stamp which transfers beautifully to your cardstock.
  • No more muddy, dirty stamped images when residue from a dark ink gets picked up by a light color!  (I had to show this to Randall about 15 times with different stamps and ink colors before he believed it.  #truestory)

How do CP Designs foam pads ink up clear stamps much more nicely than linen topped felt pads?? Foam transfers ink better to the stamps, and a well inked stamp produces a better quality image.

Simple as that.

Felt pads also usually end up getting a “depression” in the middle of the pad which makes it more difficult to ink stamps evenly, an issue that you will not experience with foam pads.

Foam pads release ink very easily on anything you touch, so experiment and play with them to get used to this amazing pad!  Sometimes I end up with some pretty inky fingers after stamping, but they wash up pretty well…and hey!  Inky fingers are the sign of a happy stamper!  I wear them as a badge of honor.

Catherine Pooler Designs are premium dye inks and they are all non-permanent, except for Midnight. Midnight is an archival dye ink, is permanent and is safe for watercoloring and for using alcohol ink markers.

Let’s see them up close and personal!

These inks are available in the shop now!  You can purchase the ink pad, the ink refills, the new 8 colors in a bundle, all 13 colors in a bundle, the first 5 colors of ink refills in a bundle, etc…

(Our first five inks were first available in our Foundations Box, in case you missed that!)

Hop along to the bloggers linked in our blog hop list, leave comments on each blog and on on Thursday, January 12 at 6 pm eastern, I’ll choose two winners from all the comments to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the shop!

Our amazing Design Team have been working on some pretty incredible projects using these inks.  I can’t wait for you to see what they’ve created!

How to hop:  Leave a comment on my blog letting me know which color is your favorite and what your favorite feature of these inks pads are, then click on Laurel’s name to visit her blog, leave a comment, then click the next name on the list and so on….have fun hopping!

  • Janet Ingraham January 10, 2017, 8:39 pm

I’m very intrigued by your new ink pads. All the info I’ve read and the designers tips make them very appealing.

  • Bonnie Sanche January 10, 2017, 9:13 pm

    Can’t wait for Flirty Fuschia!

  • Diane M Sinclair January 10, 2017, 9:20 pm

I love the vibrant colors and how the ink is so easy to use. My favorite color is Orange Twist.

  • Vicenta Ghylin January 10, 2017, 9:24 pm

Congratulations on the new ink collection. Really like all the colors but my favorite is Flirty Fuchsia and the Lime Rickey. Thank you for making the video.

  • Sherry January 10, 2017, 9:37 pm

I love all the colors!, but my new favorite is Lime Rickey… followed by Tiki Torch, and then Flirty Fuchsia. So hard to choose.

I love how vibrant the colors are and how crisp they stamp!

  • Kathy Doyle January 10, 2017, 9:38 pm

Placed my ink order today (at work on my phone, shhh!) and can’t wait for them to arrive so I can start playing and creating with all the fun colors. Love the first five colors that I received in the Foundations box! I love how solid they stamp with one stamp (won’t need my Misti with these inks)! Great job Catherine on the new inks!

  • Lindsey L January 10, 2017, 9:39 pm

Yay!! I don’t think I can pick a favorite, but I’m a blue kinda gal, so maybe Something Borrowed or Aquatini. I just love the vibrance of these inks and the coverage is amazing!

  • Meg Connell January 10, 2017, 9:47 pm

I can’t take the stress ……. choosing just ONE colour! Far out Catherine! Lol
If I absolutely HAVE to pick I will say Flirty Rickey or Lime Fuchsia because I can’t decide!
As far as the best feature: it’s the juiciness, which makes them cover so well, once you learn how to handle them and not look like a rainbow yourself!

  • sharon January 10, 2017, 10:12 pm

Can’t choose a favorite color; their names are ALL so yummy! Love the foam pad and the non-permanent feature of such beautiful colors! Can’t wait to have them all!

  • chark January 10, 2017, 10:33 pm

the flirty fuchsia is my fave!

  • Maureen Peterson January 10, 2017, 10:35 pm

You Rock!! These colors are just to die for!! So beautiful!! Ordered the new 8 today and the re-inkersfor the foundation box. Need to wait until next moth for the rest or month after. The Stamp Nation Box is next month, you know, so I can’t miss
that. I will miss your daily Facebook live posts!! I sucked at guessing the color names but it was so fun to watch all the color reveals!! Ok get working on the next set of colors!! You are awesome!!

  • Dorothy Breitenstein January 10, 2017, 10:35 pm

Love all the colors. Can’t wait to get the rest of mine.

  • Brenda Jaques January 10, 2017, 10:45 pm

Catherine, I love the Flirty Fushia, I’ve bought several purples trying to find the right shade, and this one appears to be it! I love how well these inks, ink. The Midnight Black has become my favorite black because it inks so well the first time! Love these ink pads. They did not disappoint! I was so excited about them that I took them to work and shared, and my friend liked them as well. Great Job!

  • Melissa Friedrich January 10, 2017, 10:49 pm

LOVE these vibrant colors, Aquatini is my favorite … today! I love the shape of these pads, not too big so they fit nicely in your hand and the oval ends are narrow enough to use for small areas you want to stamp.

  • Orla January 10, 2017, 10:49 pm

Decisions! Decisions! They’re all such great colors! However, if I can only pick one, I’ll have to say Flirty Fuchsia is my favorite of all. It will be a regular go-to for me. :)

  • Trina Chaska January 10, 2017, 11:08 pm

Beautiful colors. I think Aquatini is my favorite for now. It might change when I get mine. I have them ordered.

  • Kathy Doyle January 10, 2017, 11:13 pm

Just had to come back and comment again after going through all the blogs. Thanks Catherine, and to all of your Amazing Design team members for all the great cards and ideas that you all come up with! Truly a great team of stampers!
I know I am going to love the whole Party Collection! I can’t wait for my order to arrive!

  • Barbara Brennan January 10, 2017, 11:18 pm

The vibrancy of this color collection makes my eyes sparkle with delight! I’d choose LIME RICKEY and TIARA as my two favs…..BUT LOVE Love love the all!

  • Paula Wolfe January 10, 2017, 11:27 pm

I can’t wait to try out the new colors. I love the foundations box I received.

  • Kirsty Vittetoe January 10, 2017, 11:27 pm

Stunning colours. I have the Foundation Box and have used the inks for blending and am so impressed. Way to go Catherine!

  • CraftyLawyer January 10, 2017, 11:48 pm

I love the blues! And I love how solid images stamp. Not splotchy at all on the first try! Makes stamping sooooo much faster!

  • Hsin-Yi January 11, 2017, 12:13 am

I am new to stamping world, so I am still learning a lot on color medium. I have been using color pencils and markers, hopefully will learn some watercoloring in the future. Congratulations on releasing your new ink pads, Catherine! The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. Aquatini is my favorite color. I think my 5-year-old son would also have fun using these ink pads to do his stampings (he loves to do stamping and coloring with me!). Just need to plan and save so I can get them soon!

  • Melodie Isreal January 11, 2017, 12:29 am

As much as I love all the colors I think the tutti frutti is going to be an all time favorite!

  • Claudia M. January 11, 2017, 12:34 am

I love the colors, they are truly vibrant. And the names are so creative.

  • Christy Q January 11, 2017, 7:01 am

  • Nandini Karmarkar January 11, 2017, 7:26 am

Love the new ink colors. They are absolutely gorgeous. My favorite is the Lime Rickey and I really like the idea of foam pads because I always have a problem inking my stamps evenly. Especially background stamps.

  • Dee Earnshaw January 11, 2017, 8:15 am

    Awesome – love blog hops:)

  • Joyce Spear January 11, 2017, 8:16 am

My favorite color? Hands down, Flirty Fuchsia! I mean… being the purple gal I am, how could I pick any other color? (although the rest are great, too). My favorite feature is how the colors coordinate with each other, no second-guessing myself. The vibrancy of the colors in the Party Collection is outstanding!

  • Nicole Fabbri January 11, 2017, 9:32 am

Love the new colors!!! So happy you put out the inkers!!!! Rockin’ Red is my favorite this is one of the reason I am so happy about the inks because I have already used it up!!!!

Oops..didn’t read the instructions. Umm. I have a three way tie. My favorites are the flirty fuchsia, aquatini, and the fiesta blue. I am excited to see how the red comes out. I have been on the look out for a true red. Love the vibrant colors!!

  • Andrea A January 11, 2017, 2:26 pm

These inks are beautiful, bold and brilliant and appear to have a lot of versatility! I can’t wait to get some!

  • Vivian M. January 11, 2017, 3:34 pm

Yay! We can order them! How to pick a favorite…I think for today( it might change tomorrow!) my favorite is Flirty Fushia. As for the feature of the ink pad, I like that it only takes light taps to ink the stamp. I still, however, get ink everywhere!

  • Vicki Smith January 11, 2017, 6:57 pm

I don’t have any of the new inks but I LOVE all of the colors (can’t pick a favorite). Looking forward to the blog hop…
