Catherine Pooler Ink Party Collection Release Blog Hop

newink-availablenow Today is the day!!!

It’s been one year, almost exactly, since I started working on my dream of inks a reality.

It’s been an amazing journey…mostly awesome…with a sprinkling of really hard days where I’ve either been banging my head against the wall, or a sobbing heap in the corner.

The day is finally here, you all have been so amazing and excited and the first stampers that have used our inks have given them rave reviews!  So all this goodness definitely outweighs the tough parts of bringing this gorgeous rainbow to market.

May I introduce you to the first 12 colors (plus midnight!)…the Party Collection of Ink Pads!

Much of this is covered in the video, but here is a run-down!

What is great about these inks?

  • Color coordination will be a snap!  Our first collection, the Party Collection is made up of all vibrant, saturated colors that will go together perfectly.  No more guessing which color goes with which!
  • No more splotchy images!  Two or three gentle LOVE TAPS are all you need to get full coverage on your stamp which transfers beautifully to your cardstock.
  • No more muddy, dirty stamped images when residue from a dark ink gets picked up by a light color!  (I had to show this to Randall about 15 times with different stamps and ink colors before he believed it.  #truestory)

How do CP Designs foam pads ink up clear stamps much more nicely than linen topped felt pads?? Foam transfers ink better to the stamps, and a well inked stamp produces a better quality image.

Simple as that.

Felt pads also usually end up getting a “depression” in the middle of the pad which makes it more difficult to ink stamps evenly, an issue that you will not experience with foam pads.

Foam pads release ink very easily on anything you touch, so experiment and play with them to get used to this amazing pad!  Sometimes I end up with some pretty inky fingers after stamping, but they wash up pretty well…and hey!  Inky fingers are the sign of a happy stamper!  I wear them as a badge of honor.

Catherine Pooler Designs are premium dye inks and they are all non-permanent, except for Midnight. Midnight is an archival dye ink, is permanent and is safe for watercoloring and for using alcohol ink markers.

Let’s see them up close and personal!

These inks are available in the shop now!  You can purchase the ink pad, the ink refills, the new 8 colors in a bundle, all 13 colors in a bundle, the first 5 colors of ink refills in a bundle, etc…

(Our first five inks were first available in our Foundations Box, in case you missed that!)

Hop along to the bloggers linked in our blog hop list, leave comments on each blog and on on Thursday, January 12 at 6 pm eastern, I’ll choose two winners from all the comments to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the shop!

Our amazing Design Team have been working on some pretty incredible projects using these inks.  I can’t wait for you to see what they’ve created!

How to hop:  Leave a comment on my blog letting me know which color is your favorite and what your favorite feature of these inks pads are, then click on Laurel’s name to visit her blog, leave a comment, then click the next name on the list and so on….have fun hopping!

Love all the colors and how juicy they are. Still getting used to the foam pad and light touch.

  • Ellen C. January 10, 2017, 2:09 pm

My favorite would be Flirty Fuschia. I love, love, love, that solid images stamp so well with these inks.

  • Vickie Buehler January 10, 2017, 2:12 pm

Congrats on your new ink line! These colors are gorgeous! Can not wait to be able to get the new colors, especially “tiara”!

  • Nina Houghton January 10, 2017, 2:19 pm

I honestly don’t have a favorite color because they are all so rich and intense. My favorite feature is their crisp print. I am still amazed at how perfect and crisp the stamped images are!

  • Mary Ann C. January 10, 2017, 2:19 pm

Its extremely difficult to pick only ONE favorite color — but I guess mine would be Aquatini…or maybe Tutti Frutti…no, I changed my mind, my favorite is Lime Rickey..or maybe Flirty Fuschia. I can’t pick only one! My favorite feature of these ink pads is being able to get a good image with just a tap-tap-tap — no more splotchy images!

  • Nicole January 10, 2017, 2:29 pm

Flirty Fuchsia sounds about right… I love how vibrant the colors are.

  • June Sefscik January 10, 2017, 2:41 pm

I love Fiesta Blue right now – and love how even these pads work with your stamps. Beautiful results. Just order the “rest of the party” and all the re-inkers. So much fun! Can’t wait to try the rest of the colors. Thanks Catherine for these great products

  • Donna Hawkins January 10, 2017, 2:46 pm

I can’t pick just one color. I LOVE them all. But I love Aquatini and of course Flirty Fushia. I love that the colors go together so well. Can’t wait to get the new colors in m hands!

  • Marianne January 10, 2017, 2:58 pm

The Rockin’ red ink looks like the perfect Christmas red, which would be a perfect addition to the reds I own. I’m particularly intrigued by the love tap feature with perfect stamping.

  • JanetB January 10, 2017, 3:11 pm

I think your fun colors are beautiful, and I have been enjoying the whole pre-release hoopla. I don’t have a Facebook account, but sometimes see what is going on with my daughters account:) My cart is full of colors!!

  • Clare January 10, 2017, 3:30 pm

Just ordered my ink pads! Super excited to get the rainbow complete love the ones I have so far.

  • Mary Holshouser January 10, 2017, 3:39 pm

I love the fact that there are several shades of the same color
available. Blue is my favorite color at any time but the red
almost wipes them out of contention. Fantastic colors.
    thanks for sharing.

  • Priscilla Steele January 10, 2017, 3:44 pm

Looking forward to using Tiara… I was so pleased with the Foundations box especially the Midnight pad. Absolutely a must in any stampers collection. I found the ink pads easy to use since you were very clear on the best way to ink up the stamps. Thank you and so very happy for you!!!

  • Debbie S McPherson January 10, 2017, 3:45 pm

I LOVE the color coordination of the stamps! Can’t wait to try some! yahoo!

These inks look FABULOUS!!! I have a birthday coming up soon…guess what I want for my birthday? I am 84 yrs. old and so enjoy card making and would love to have your inks on hand. TFS and good luck in your new endeavor.

  • Kelly January 10, 2017, 3:59 pm

LOVE these inks. I have the foundations box and will get the new colors. they are so fun and VIBRANT and stamp beautifully!

  • Marianne January 10, 2017, 4:24 pm

As always, I was unable to leave a comment on Lisa’s blog, since you need to have a Google+ account to do so. I was also unable to leave a comment on Melissa’s blog. First, I was taken for a spammer and then commenting was disabled. Loved the hop, though. Your new inks wowed me with their vibrant colours and crisp stamping, including the black ink.

  • Brenda B. January 10, 2017, 4:26 pm

My favorite color is lime rickey. I love the foam base on these inks. You don’t have to press hard with your stamps and never end up with those stringy bits of felt like I get on some of my other pads.

  • Karen Roberts January 10, 2017, 4:31 pm

I love Grass Skirt from the Foundation box and if the color stamps as pretty as the lid, Something Borrowed will be a favorite. Thank you, Catherine

  • Laurie Sherwin January 10, 2017, 4:43 pm

Love love the tutti fruiti, bought tutti fruiti, aquatini and tiara.Love the love tap and sat colors

  • Laura Miller January 10, 2017, 4:51 pm

  • Shelley Flaherty January 10, 2017, 5:18 pm

These inks are wonderful. I just received the foundations box and I have enjoyed playing. I am looking forward to the rest of the “party”! I think my favorite color is the Flirty Fuchsia, but they are all beautiful. The colors are so rich and full. BTW more purple is always welcome! :)

  • Chrystyna B. January 10, 2017, 5:24 pm

Love all the colors you created! They are vibrant and fun to play with. Looking forward to playing with the new colors.

  • susan.w January 10, 2017, 5:38 pm

Hi, CP! Congratulations for another successful product launch. Well done! My favourite colour looks to be Flirty Fuchsia. Looking eagerly to the day they are all delivered. The single feature that I am looking forward to when my inks arrive is NO MORE SPLOTCHY IMAGES. Fabulous and informative video, once again. You’re the best, CP! Thanks for spoiling us on StampNation.

  • Jodi January 10, 2017, 5:56 pm

Such a cheerful, festive collection of colours! They are bringing a breeze of summer to this chilly winter.
Thanks for the informative video on the qualities and uses for these inks. It is great that they can be used for heat embossing.

  • Caroline Bredeson January 10, 2017, 5:59 pm

Oops! Forgot to list my favorite colour–I will have to wait to see them “in the flesh” but either Tiki Torch or Tutti Fruiti. Love the orange shades!

  • Marcia Fellner January 10, 2017, 6:01 pm

Just ordered all the ink pads and reinkers. Hoping the snow doesn’t slow down delivery too much. Something Borrowed is my favorite so far…. I love that the colors are so vivid and that they all go together.

  • Andrea January 10, 2017, 6:04 pm

I love your selection of colors. I love love Orange Twist. I am in love with Fall colors! The Tiki Torch will make some awesome cards. But these colors are awesome for Summer flowers also.

  • Denise January 10, 2017, 6:08 pm

My fav color is aquatini and I love the intense color that stamps so nicely.

  • Diana January 10, 2017, 6:14 pm

  • Crystal January 10, 2017, 7:15 pm

I love Rockin’ Red and the fact that the ink gives full coverage…who could ask for more than a outrageous red that stamps beautifully?!

  • Joyce M January 10, 2017, 7:21 pm

I have been loving the inks I got in the foundations box and can’t wait to get more. How could I possibly pick a favorite???? I’m most interested in the Tiara since I don’t think I have ever had a yellow I liked!

  • Elena Chamberlain January 10, 2017, 7:23 pm

Can’t wait to try these. My Tim Holtz’ stamp pads are wearing out and I was just starting to look around for pads that I can watercolor with.

  • NatQuebec January 10, 2017, 7:26 pm

Such beautiful inks !! Thanks for the chance to win.

Love them all but would say Party Dress and Something Borrowed as 2 favorites. Can’t wait to get my order!

  • Robin January 10, 2017, 7:50 pm

Party Dress is probably my favorite color but Flirty Fushcia is a close second. My favorite thing about the ink pads is how easily they ink up the stamps.

    Ordered bundle today! Woot woot!
