hello_world-total-blog This tribe ROCKS my world!  You GUYS!  We raised enough money through our Hello World Campaign to buy FIFTEEN computers for Mr. Ingle’s classroom in Boston!  (view the kick off of this campaign here)

WOOOOT!!!!

I made the actual donation during the retreat with my team back in October, so it was really fun to be able to do that with some of the ladies that helped make this possible in person.

Thank you to the Ingles for sending these pictures of the kids using the computers that YOU all bought for them.  Amazing, right?

A note from Mr. Ingle:

Thank you everyone who has donated to this project! My students will be so excited to use these new computers.

Going forward we will now have access to literacy tools, curricula, and current event feeds online all thanks to your generosity!!

In addition, you’ve given these students the gift of knowing that they matter to other people! In a world often dominated by negativity you have demonstrated a generosity of spirit and, in a very tangible way, told children that you genuinely care about their future and welfare. Words can’t even express my gratitude for your example and selflessness.

With gratitude,
Mr. Ingle

If you haven’t purchased the Hello World Stamps and Dies, you can check them out in the store here!

Thank you so much!!!! The kids have been using the Chromebooks for all kinds of projects! They use them daily! They are also learning how to properly take care of them and knowing you were kind enough to help them has motivated them to be more responsible with the machines. We are so grateful for all you contributed.
