Holiday Thank You Card

Last week we had a darling easy to make Christmas card by Dream Team Member, Lisa Harrolle on the blog using goodies from the Foundations Box.  She made some of the fun patterned circles into little ornaments – Love it!

We have another card from Lisa today…

For my next card I stepped up the stamping just a bit by including some second generation stamping.  If you’re not familiar with this technique, it is a great way to stretch your ink colors to create different shades color.   On this card you can see I have created two different greens with Grass Skirt using stamps from the Amazing Floral stamp set.

thank-you-foundations-box Just ink up your stamp, stamp it off once onto some scratch paper and then  move your stamp over to stamp onto your card.  The remainder of the ink on your stamp will create a beautiful lighter shade of color.

Stop by later this week for another card by Lisa using the Foundations Box and while you’re here, be sure to subscribe to my newsletter….PSSST!  We’ve got a free Project Guide download waiting for you!

I made some really cute tags last night for teacher presents. Unfortunately, one stamp that is missing is “Christmas”! I didn’t want to say holiday, so I just went with thank you for everything….but I do think “Christmas” was a notable omission for a “foundations” box. it’s right up there with thank you.
    Love the box though.

Hi CP & Lisa ~ I love this stamp set…it’s so incredibly versatile for any time of year. I’ve purchased every single thing (I think) that you’ve had for sale and I’ve never, ever been sorry. Thanks for continuing to share and inspire! ~HUGS~ to you both. MB
