Before we take a rewind and look back at the Young at Heart Collection, I have a new video for you using quite a few products that will be available tomorrow in my Online Store!
If you are like me, you find it quite difficult to line up a row of little stamped images, but really love the custom look you can get! These little butterflies are close to perfect, right?
Pattern of the Rings Stencil.
Using Stencils as a Guide for Stamping
- Pattern of the Rings Stencil
- GeoBuilders Stamp Set
- Enchanted Garden Stamp Set
- Two Yous Dies
- All About You Stamp Set
These will all be available TOMORROW for the Grand Opening of my Online Store! YAY!
Try different color combinations and even different small stamps for custom looks.
I love the use of the GeoBuilders stamp set here…such a fun little chevron pattern peeking out from beneath the stamped layer!
Use a stamped “You” from the All About You stamp set or add a little dimension with a die cut You from the Two Yous die.
We will look at more projects tomorrow using these products (most of the above were from our Beautiful World Collection)…but today we are taking a look back at….
January of 2016 was our Young at Heart Collection and my fondest memory of creating this collection was when some of the Dream Team, along with Michele (CAS-ual Fridays Stamps) and I had a retreat in NY. We hopped on Periscope and chatted with our stamping friends and got some great ideas for sentiments that YOU wanted to see in a birthday set.
We turned your suggestions into the “Young at Heart” stamp set and it’s a great all around birthday set with lots of mix and match sentiments!
Young at Heart Collection February 2016:
- Birthday Journal Card Die (SugarPea Designs)
- Birthday Wishes Dies (CAS-ual Fridays)
- Bring on the Cake (SugarPea Designs)
- Scenery:Harleen Creative Screenings (W&W)
- HB2U (SugarPea Designs)
- Ring in the Celebration (Winnie & Walter)
- Young at Heart (CAS-ual Fridays)
Here’s a look at the collection and the “oh-so-famous Crooky Cake” stamp set (AKA Bring on the Cake).
(Mixed with Friendly Flowers Dies from the Friendship Collection) Do you see the Harleen Stencil lightly sponged in the background? LOVE the effect that gives!
It’s incredible how many cards you can make with just one of our Stamp of Approval Collections, right?
TOMORROW IS THE DAY!!! We have one final collection to look at (the Beautiful World Collection) tomorrow and a BLOG HOP to celebrate. Three commenters will be chosen at random to win a $25 gift certificate to the store to spend however you wish!
I’ll see you then!
