Patterned Paper Cut and Flipped 3 Patterned Paper:  Cut and Flipped

Hello my friends!  The Poolers have returned home from vacation and we are ready to roll!  It was back to work and school for everyone except Eva.  Eva has 2 more weeks off of school, so she’ll be hangin’ with me.  Wonder if we can talk her into doing a video!!!  Fingers crossed!

Luckily I filmed this video before I left, otherwise I would have been scrambling today while wading through…eh-HEM!  800 emails!  Many of them were notifications of things that just required a delete…but there was some business to take care of.  If you are waiting on something from me, I should be back up to speed in a couple days.

Last month I started working on this paper pack by My Mind’s Eye and I’m seeing how many cards and different techniques I can do with it.

Well, do you know we only have ONE MORE MONDAY before it’s time for the next Stamp of Approval Release week?  Can. Not. WAIT!  to share this one with you….you are going to love it.  Subscribe to the wait list here to make sure you get the link when it goes live.  Our first one sold out in the blink of an eye!

Patterned Paper Cut and Flipped 2 Cut and Flip.  With double sided patterned paper this is such a fun and easy technique to do!

The first card has a simple Vellum leaf die cut with the greeting on two layers and a couple hearts and sequins for embellishment.

Patterned Paper Cut and Flipped For the second card, I wanted to use Vellum in a different way so I cut a layer then die cut a heart right through the middle.

I stamped my sentiment, cut it out and added hearts and sequins to embellish.

Patterned Paper Cut and Flipped 5 Do you notice the white detail?  The cut out heart didn’t quite stand out as much as I wanted it to, so I took my White Pitt Pen and added some dots around the heart and the edges of the layer.

Patterned Paper Cut and Flipped 4 Cut and Flip shapes, too!  I punched out hearts, cut them in half and flipped them for another fun look.

I’d love to hear about what YOU come up with when you Cut and Flip! :)

Love, love the colours and card designs. What a super way to use all the gorgeous and different patterns of paper together. Thank you so much for always inspiring that next level of cardmaking. Can’t wait for the Stamp of Approval collection at the end of April. I have used everything in all the collections I’ve bought so far….I can’t get over how interchangeable all the dies and stamps are. Fabulous! :-)
