Patterned Paper: Weaving!

Pattern Paper Weaving 2 Patterned Paper:  Weaving!

Last week I shared a video on using die cut frames cut out of Patterned Paper on cards.  Now, let’s take strips of Patterned Paper and create a fabulous background by Weaving!!

Pattern Paper Weaving When creating a fun background like this, you really don’t need much else.  A layer or two behind it and a die cut sentiment and/or greeting strip and you are done!

Go with a tight weave, or a loose weave…either way, it’s a totally fun way to use your Patterned Paper scraps.

Leave me a comment and let me know if you try this!

Love the ideas in this video and for your last patterned paper video too! Your cards are fabulous! I definitely need these ideas, I have oodles of paper and rarely think to use them! xxx

I cannot wait for the next one, and will be happy to see the sneak peek on the 15th of April. Happy, happy, happy!

I love the use of the die cut frames. Both cards remind me of old fashioned quilts. Thanks so much for the inspiration with patterned paper. It’s amazing how an initial sheet of “not so attractive paper” in ones collection (we think) can come together so beautifully in the way you’ve done it. :-)

That’s very different, but I love it. I’m always trying to figure out what to do with all my 2 inch strips of paper & this would be perfect!! Thanks :)

Hi there CP ~ Weaving paper, solid or pattern (or a combination of the two), has always been so much fun. Many moons ago my Girl Scout Troop made woven placements that we then secured and protected with clear Contac paper. Such fun!! Thanks for reminding me of this awesome technique!! ~HUGS~
