Welcome to the National Craft Month blog hop! My “task” was to create a project with products I’m excited about.
Well, gosh darn…THAT was easy!
I pulled out Eva’s Favorite Flowers from the very first Stamp of Approval Collection back in August, the Journal Card Die from the Young at Heart Collection and a muted color palette (which is not my usual go-to-color palette!) for this card.
I started by stamping the large light blue flowers, then added the detail stamp on top with a darker blue ink.
Next, I filled in with the melon colored “starburst” flower, stamping them close to the blue flower. I stamped the leaves next, followed by the small dotted flower.
I used both frame dies to cut out white cardstock, then I sponged it with the melon ink so it was perfectly coordinated.
The “Blessed” die cut was sponged with the same Chartruese ink that the leaves were stamped in.
This is a really versatile card design – do you recognize it? I used it a couple weeks ago with the “Crooky Cake” (or if you want to be all kinds of formal, the Bring on the Cake) stamp set HERE.
Since this is part of a blog hop, there’s more projects AND prizes….
