Stamp of Approval Day 2.3 SOA Young at Heart Collection Release Week Day #2

I’ve been going very Clean and Simple on my cards so far…mostly because I want to show you how many different ways you can use the stamps and dies in this collection.  You know how much I love stamps that can be used in different ways!

In this video, I’ll share:

  • Young at Heart Stamp Set
  • Birthday Wishes Dies
  • Birthday Journal Card Dies

Also, in the video is a special announcement.  ;)

Stamp of Approval Day 2.1

What to expect this week:

  • Sunday and Monday – more videos and sneak peeks.  I’ll be sharing that crooky cake stamp and die soon!
  • Tuesday – blog hop at 9 am.  Be sure to hop along and comment for your chance to win.  Someone (actually TWO someones!) will get her SOA Young at Heart Collection for FREE!
  • Wednesday – 9 am.  Sales link goes out to StampNation Members that are on the wait list (be sure to use the same email address for both!).   10 am.  Sales link will go out to the rest of the wait list.

What to expect with ordering:

  • Our first box sold out in an hour.
  • We ordered a LOT more for our second box and it sold out in a week.  BUT 85% of them sold in less than 10 hours.  Most of you weren’t “messin'” around and risking it selling out!  lol.  To ensure you grab one of these, I would recommend purchasing on the first day if you can!

Stamp of Approval Day 2

Ink colors used:

  • Hero Arts:  Tide Pool, Butter Bar, Lime Green, Raspberry Jam, Orange Soda
  • Gina K:  Bubble Gum, Turquiose Sea, Sweet Mango, Peach Bellini
  • Memento:  Grape Jelly, Lulu Lavender, Lilac Posies

Beautiful cards Catherine!! So excited to see more and to get my collection and play!!

  • Marianne January 31, 2016, 2:10 pm

Oh my, such pretty cards and such pretty soft colours. When you announced that international shipping would be up, I sort of decided to pass up on this box, but now I will have to reconsider. Have you thought about shipping these collections in flat rate envelopes instead? Especially for international shipping, I’m wondering if that would be a cheaper option? For me, it’s the contents that count, not the packaging and I would really love for the shipping costs to be lower instead of higher…

  • Catherine January 31, 2016, 2:14 pm

    Hi Marianne!
Thank you for the suggestion, it actually wouldn’t change the shipping. To be honest, I’m losing money on the shipping for internationals, but I just can’t see raising it any higher.
The international cost went up $2.
    Hope that helps!
    Catherine

I really like how you did the balloon, but you didn’t show what you did to get the glittery look. How did you do it?

  • Anne O'Donnell January 31, 2016, 3:36 pm

So, this will be at my house tomorrow??? LOL!! Can’t wait for this to arrive…such a wonderful collection…you and your team outdid your selves!

  • Sara Killian January 31, 2016, 3:57 pm

I love your clean and simple cards!! Learning how to do those. It’s hard to stay away from putting layers on a card sometimes though.

  • Catherine Pooler January 31, 2016, 4:46 pm

    Hi Jane!

If you watch towards the end, around 5:30, I show how to do the balloon. Thank you!

  • Heather North January 31, 2016, 6:07 pm

It’s amazing how much you can do with just a few simple stamps. These have such a cute and playful looking background. Once again I love how you pull mix and match stamp sets to get the overall look you are going for.

I am so excited to get this next Stamp of Approval box and see what I can create. I love all the ideas that you give us. It has helped me step up my stamping and be more experimental instead of always having to copy someone else’s idea. Thanks.

  • Donna Hawkins January 31, 2016, 10:57 pm

Thanks Catherine. I suppose I can afford another 2 dollars on shipping. From what I’ve seen of this box so far, it’s a really versatile collection and too good to miss.

Very new to stamping and so excited to see your creations. I can’t wait to get your latest collection and begin creating. You make it look so easy! I can already tell that I tend to overthink everything because your cards are so clean compared to mine. I must learn how to stop adding before my cards get out of control. Ha! You are a real blessing. Thanks so much for sharing your expertise and for heading up this nation of enthusiasts!
    Fondly,
    Joy
