PinkPowerBloghop2015 Pink Power Blog Hop with…you guessed it!  PINK Snowflakes!

Thank you to Chaitali for including me in this blog hop to help spread awareness for Breast Cancer and most importantly SELF CHECK!

A very dear friend of mine…you may know her from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps fame, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in September through a self check.  She has a very powerful story, so be sure to hop along the blogs for inspiration and to find Michele in case you haven’t read it yet.

I’m not feeling very eloquent with my words about this topic right now…but I have been humbled and honored to be part of this with Michele.  She has shown such courage and she is such an inspiration to me.  I’ve not been diligent with my own self checks, but now with Michele’s “Calling All Sistahs” campaign on the 17thlof each month, I will be!

To honor this, I just had to do it…I HAD to make a pink snowflake card.  I hope you enjoy this quick video!

Bring on the Snowflakes and Holiday Trimmings Stamp Sets are from the Stamp of Approval Holiday Magic Collection and both will be available later in 2016 from retailers.

Pink Power Stamp Set by Verve – Chaitali lost her mom to Breast Cancer which wasn’t diagnosed until Stage 3, earlier this year.  She designed this stamp set for her mom when she was undergoing treatment.

Pink Power2 Leave a comment here to let us know when your last mammogram or self check was and your promise to join the “Calling All Sistahs” campaign and remind your friends and loved ones to do their self checks each and every month!

The next stop in the hop is the brillian organizer of this event, Chaitali!

Pink Power Thank you for being here today!

Beautiful card Catherine, I love pink snowflakes.
My last mammogram was 18months ago and self check ….. well, not as recent as it should be so I am joining the “Calling all Sistahs” campaign. Well done for bringing it to our attention.

Well, I guess I’m back to the starting point and just wanted to let everyone know how much I enjoyed this blog hop. Not only was it a joy to see all the beautiful creations that everyone made but it was inspirational to read everyone’s comments regarding this topic of breast cancer. I had never seen the Pink Power stamp set before. It is absolutely a GORGEOUS set and one I would love to have!! If I’m not a winner, then I will definitely purchase it myself — it is awe inspiring!!

I Just had my mammogram last week. My sister and I schedule ours on the same day every year. That’s our “Buddy System”.

Catherine: love the pink snowflake wreath. It is amazing at the numerous stories of survivors that we are hearing almost every day. My little sister is 3 years post her surgery for breast cancer. What a fighter and super woman she is to me. Bravery and strength, along with very positive attitude has given her much success in her fight. Thanks for the reminder to self check.
