High Saturation with Zig Clean Color Markers
Allison Cope (SN Dream Team Member) has been teaching over at StampNation all month long about color, coloring and watercolors. In her last video, she taught about Saturation, Hue and Value. She then demonstrated Saturation with Zig Clean Color Markers and challenged members to make a card with High or Low Saturation.
Definition of Saturation from Greatreality.com: Saturation is the purity of a color. High saturation colors look rich and full. Low saturation colors look dull and grayish.
If you know me, you know I am a HIGHLY Saturated color fan. I love bright, vivid POW! colors. So, that’s what I did on today’s card!
I used a CAS-ual Fridays Fri-die called Heart Board, had a ball with my markers, then cut a slit and made them interlocking. The Mwah Stamp Set from CF polished it off. See how I did it in this video:
There is an awesome article over at My Favorite Things about saturation. Check it out here.
Do you notice the SNEAK PEEK here? Those little hearts and stars are a sweet little die that is coming out in the Holiday Stamp of Approval Collection in Mid-October.
