Bold Blossoms Ellen Essentials 2

Last week I told you that I’d be sharing a video with you today on the Diagonal Window Die by Ellen Hutson.  Well Miss Ellen threw me for a loop this afternoon when she told that the die is out of stock right now!  Congrats to her and Julie for making a fabulous product that FLEW off the shelves!

So instead of torturing you all with something you can not purchase right now, I went into a frenzy reorganizing my schedule.  (It really was only about 3 minutes of panic before I had a plan, so all is well and I didn’t need to break out a wine glass at noon, lol).

What plan did I come up with?

Sometimes I do a series of videos, usually two videos on my blog with a third one on StampNation.  Today’s KISS Card video with the Bold Blooms Stamp Set by Ellen Hutson  was supposed to go up on Thursday, the next video on the following Monday, then the same day a follow up video for StampNation.

We are going to tweak this a bit- StampNation Sistahs- you will find the next two videos up on the site in just a bit, so you all will get to see the next blog video early!! :)  Pretty easy solution, I thought.

Here is a peek at the upcoming projects:

I didn’t find the exact Honeycomb Stencil that I used in the shop at Ellen Hutson, but I did find two others that will work as well.  I did find a source for it, though.

Honeycomb Stencil – Wendy Vecchi

Sunburst Stencil – Wendy Vecchi

I also added a few products below that coordinate with the new Bold Blooms Essentials by Ellen stamp set.  Check it out!

Thanks for visiting with me today.  See you in a couple days with the next video!  If you can’t wait until then, be sure to check out StampNation and join us.  Membership is month-to-month and you can cancel at any time.  Why not give it a try?

like this technique but I really like the honey comb one. Thought it was the nicest looking one. They are all good but that was my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

  • Sandi March 2, 2015, 6:04 pm

Sun burst my favorite, like them all.

  • Elizabeth G March 2, 2015, 6:24 pm

They are all great but LOVE the Sun Burst stencil (what brand is it? Please) and I think paper down the side with the enamel dots to the side of the sentiment would look great :). might just hide that white space a bit more and if the paper and dots are the same colour could bring it together a bit better. BUT I do love them as they are :)

  • Marlene March 2, 2015, 6:33 pm

I like all the stencils as well as the different looks. Now I want some stencils after watching this and seeing how easy it really is.

  • Carol Mc March 2, 2015, 6:33 pm

Of course I like them all. But I believe the enamel dot one is my favorite.

  • Christine Smith March 2, 2015, 7:32 pm

All these are awesome! If I have to choose a favourite, it must be the sunburst with the sequins, xxx

  • Kylie March 2, 2015, 9:20 pm

Ohhhh, I love the honey comb stencil… And I love the strip of paper on the edges rather than the sequins/enamel dots as it looks more complete to me with the strip!!

  • Teresa March 2, 2015, 10:36 pm

Hey Catherine, I really like them all. (I definitely need more than one stencil. LOL)

  • Marcia Fellner March 3, 2015, 1:06 am

Love them all. If I had to pick – the honeycomb pops out at me – maybe it is the black and white paper strip. Can’t wait to try the technique. Looks easy. We will see.

  • Mary H. Long March 3, 2015, 7:05 am

I couldn’t decide which card that I liked the best. I loved all four of them.

  • Nina m March 3, 2015, 12:52 pm

Enjoyed the video, and your talents. I like all the cards, each have their own merits, TFS

  • Brenda B March 3, 2015, 9:40 pm

I really like all 4 of these cards, but I am leaning towards the two with the dsp strip. Really cute stamp set and I also like how you used the stencils. Must give that a try. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • anita Landon March 4, 2015, 2:24 pm

You are so awesome!! I love them all but I like the stencil with the sunburst just because We need to see some sun up here in Canada.

  • Elise Mungovan March 4, 2015, 7:56 pm

Beautiful and fast! I love all of them.

  • Jean maxwell March 5, 2015, 12:37 am

Sunburst , but all of them look great!

  • Carol March 5, 2015, 12:35 pm

    I like them all

  • Betty B March 5, 2015, 1:06 pm

I love all of the cards, but if I have to pick one it would be the houndstooth stenciled card with the side patterned paper.

  • Julz March 6, 2015, 8:48 pm

My favourite is the honeycomb with the strip of black and white. Not sure why it just appeals to me.

  • cindi July 17, 2015, 1:06 am

I love them all, but the sequin card, followed by the enamel dot cards are my favorite.
    Those stencils are great!
