How to get inspired – CAS-ual Fridays CAS Holiday Card

After all the non-traditional Holiday cards I’ve been making, I decided it was time to go TRADITIONAL!

And what is more traditional than red, green and gold with a bit of glam thrown in?

I used the Christmas Carols Stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays.  I made the first card shown here (oh, my!  I didn’t erase my pencil lines very well!  Whooops!  I’ll have to take care of that before I send it out!), then went wild and made five more!

The second card is pretty much the same idea with a few small tweaks.

I stamped the flowers on an angle, cut off about 1/2″ from the top layer and added a small bit of red cardstock to accent it.

The rest of the card is the same.  The same red, green and gold traditional colors with a bit of bling from the rhinestones.  I think the gold embossed greeting really set this card off, what do you think?
