I hope you enjoyed our first video collaboration!  Now it’s time for Part 2.  I had so much fun making this video – a bit of Watercoloring, some Clear Emboss Resist, some watercolored, glittery stars…ooooh, BOY!

Watch the video to see how I made the first part, then head over to Darlene’s blog to see how she made my elements into a card.  As I write this, I haven’t seen it yet.  I’m sitting on the edge of my seat, y’all!

In case you missed it, check out our first collab by clicking here!

Supplies:

  • Shiny Happy Sentiments (Lil’ Inker Designs)
  • Ink:  Versamark, Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, Night of Navy
  • Cardstock:  Distress Watercolor Paper
  • Accessories:  Circle Framelits, Stitched Stars Die (Lil Inker Designs), Heat Tool, Clear Embossing Powder, Aquapainter, Dazzling Details

Thank you, Darlene for collaborating with me!  How fun was this!?

Before I say good-bye today, I wanted to make sure you had a chance to enter to win a free class registration.  Details here.

Have a super day!

edited to add:  The only thing – when I finished the card – was that the greeting didn’t show up as well as I would have liked. I was so concerned with everything else on the card that I didn’t even really notice that until I was putting it in the envelope. Darlene picked up on that right away and had the perfect solution.  You will love it!

Your watercolored circle was so fun and Darlene’s black to highlight the sentiment was fab. I loved all your sparkly stars and the different at you colored them.

Thanks for the tutorial. Yes, I will try the watercolor focal point. I didn’t know that you could dye sticle type glitter glue. Great tip. Now off to Darlene’s site to see what she did.
