darlene collab 3.2

A couple weeks ago, I teamed up with Kristina Werner for a “FINISH THIS CARD COLLAB” – it was so much fun and I got great feedback from viewers and many of you asked me to do this again.

Isn’t it fabulous when crafters work together to create fun stuff?  I was so excited when Kristina asked me to participate…so I decided I would ask

Darlene DeVries!

I’ve been a long time fan of hers.  If you don’t know her yet, I know you are going to adore her stuff just like I do.

So, let’s get to the video…(viewing this through email feed?  click the title to view online)

These little fortune cookies are so stinkin’ cute…I hope I did them justice!  These soft, romantic colors aren’t my usual style, so I hope you like it!

Be sure to pop over to Darlene’s blog post to check out how she made these fortune cookies.

Be sure to check back on Wednesday when I make the main focal point/sentiment and Darlene finishes it off.  I can’t WAIT to see what she does with what I sent her!

I love the way you finished this card with Darlene’s super cute Fortune Cookies. This new collaboration with Darlene is a fantastic idea, I can’t wait to see the next card, where you will create the embellishments and sentiment and Darlene will finish the card.
What a fabulous project from two amazing ladies.

This type of video presentation rocks! To see two different minds work on the other’s card has endless possibilities …I try to make the card myself before I watch the second part and I just laugh at myself. Please do this on a regular basis.
