I’ve been holding onto a secret for a while now and today is the day I get to share it with you! Hero Arts asked me to be a guest artist on their blog and Youtube channel using some fun stamps from their Constellation line.
WHAT!!??? What an honor, right?
I got busy stamping and made some fun projects for them to share – but I didn’t stop there. How could I with these fun products? I grabbed some watercolor paper, some inks and had some fun…view the video to see how I made this dreamy, watercolored Constellation background!
Hero Arts Constellation Stamp – dreamy watercolored background
Fun right? Like I said in the video, using Watercolor Paper allowed for adding a lot of water to the paper without it warping. The ink travels and mixes and does all sorts of fun things with all that water! As it dries, you will see some watermarks emerge as well.
The card design is simple, which is a perfect way to highlight a really cool technique piece. The Watercolor Paper is cut to 3-1/2 x 4-1/4 and the Rose Red layer behind it is 3-1/4 x 4-1/4.
This was layered onto an 11 x 4-1/4 piece of White Cardstock that was folded in half. I actually use this layout quite a bit. I hope you will try it!
