Dazzline Divas 2.3

Welcome to the Dazzling Divas Challenge #2!  It’s so fun to be on the DT for this brand new challenge hosted by my friend, Monica at Add a Little Dazzle.

Be sure to participate in the challenge….a prize is up for grabs, my friends!

This week’s challenge is to create a Thank You card.  Quite appropriate for the week of Thanksgiving!

Dazzling Divas Challenge #2

When I went to make a card for this challenge, there were a few pieces hangin’ out on my table – left overs from some other projects.

The 4-1/4 x 11″ card base layered with a 4 x 5-1/4″ Real Red piece of cardstock embellished with Baker’s Twine and a Vintage Button (I dipped it in Versamark Ink, coated it in Gold Embossing Powder and heated it….pretty darned cool, right?!) was begging to be played with.

I also had a piece of white cardstock with this dimensional, sparkly snowflake.  How did I make that?  I’m SO glad you asked!

It’s actually a product sneak peek.  My lips are sealed right now, so you’ll have to make sure you pop in here on Friday!!! I’ll be revealing what this is and how to use it.

The shiny, impressive coppery colored embossed layer is a Metal Sheet from the Add a Little Dazzle store.  I cut it to 3-1/2 x 4-3/4, ran it through my Big Shot with a Music Notes Embossing Folder and attached it to my card front with dimensionals.

Yep, I know it’s a bit crinkled (sorry, Monica!).  You all know I’m not a perfectionist in this way (I do admit when I am a perfectionist…and it’s not on this sort of thing).  I love how the metal looks on this card!

I agree with Kristie. I need that embossing folder so I can CASE this card for my son’s music teacher. It’s stunning!
