Birthday Card Making with Metal Sheets

This is the season of birthdays in the Pooler household, and up now is Eva.  She turned 9 on Sunday – Randall and I slid in here just in time to take her out to dinner and smother her with hugs and kisses!

She didn’t have school yesterday, so today was the birthday lunch.  She requested a sub and a cookie cake.  When I picked up her cookie cake, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this puppy one…frosting puppies with puppy paw tracks???  How perfect is that for my dog-obsessed daughter?

I made her card using Metal Sheets from Add a Little Dazzle.  Do you see it?  I cut the “9” from pink metal and it gives this card such a fun POP!
