Halloween Cupcakes and paper crafting

You may know that my kiddos have “interesting” schedules.  One child is on a traditional calendar with the summer months off.  The littles are on a year round school calendar.  They go to school for 9 weeks, then have 3 weeks off….all year long.  Yep, I’ve had kids at home since the end of May (other than 2 weeks at the end of August).

Thank goodness that I have a job that allows me to be flexible and home with them!

Last week, the kids jumped in and got crafty with me.  We made Caramel Apple Cupcakes from a recipe on Allrecipes, you can view it here.

We couldn’t resist “paper crafting them up” and had a ball doing so.  We had a great time filming a video as we baked and crafted.  If you are viewing through email in a feed, please click the title of this post to view the video.

The “frosting” is basically caramel.  Yum!

Toffee bits add a yummy crunch.

We used caramel apple sticks, decorated them with Washi Tape and added a fun topper.

I really enjoyed this video and watching the little stars shine. I especially got a kick out of watching your daughter show things to the camera, like the evaporated milk can. She’s quite the actress. The cupcakes look so yummy. I always had fun n the kitchen with my girls and grandkids.
