Hey, friends! By now I’m sure Randall and I are settled in Fiji. I’m writing this post before we go and scheduling it for you so you’ll still have some fun stuff to look through. You know Fiji is half way around the world from Raleigh, NC – AND you cross the date line…so if it’s Monday afternoon where I live, I wonder what day and time it is in Fiji? I know I could figure it out, but that causes smoke to come out of my ears and I’d rather stamp or sleep or craft.
Speaking of stamping and crafting! That’s why you are here! Right? Last week, I was perusing some fun blogs looking for inspiration and I was seeing a ton of Clean and Simple cards with graphic designs and images. So, I got inspired!
I grabbed a sponge dauber, some White Cardstock and my Melon Mambo ink pad and made super cool Polka Dots! Simply dab your dauber on the ink pad, then dab it on your cardstock. Easy peasy!
The key here is triangles….look at the 3 triangles in the upper left hand corner. They are in a triangle. I stamped the two on the top first, then stamped one below and in between the first two. Working down in a row, then going to the top and the right side of the cardstock.
Honestly, I had to do it three times before I got it the way I wanted it (and it’s not perfect now, but we aren’t really going for perfection here…just something that lookes even enough).
