Hey, friends! Today’s card is a spin on the one that went out in my newsletter on Weds. On that card, I used paper like the white cardstock here as a mask and sponged color onto the layer beneath…creating a sort of faux-layer banner look. It was so cool and fun to make!
If you missed it, I do apologize, but GURL!!! You must get your behiney on my newsletter list so you won’t miss out on One. MORE. THING!

Supplies for this card (all Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted):
- Hero Arts Sentiment Stamp Set
- Cardstock: Whisper White
- Ink: Pacific Point
- Accessories: Brights Buttons, Baker’s Twine, Small Butterfly Punch, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Series Paper, Dimensionals
I used a Hero Arts stamp because, honestly I was a bit lazy to use my stamp-a-ma-jig to get the greeting lined up perfectly. This was a clear stamp and I could see exactly where it was going.
My mom arrived last night. She will be taking care of the kiddos while Randall and I go on our trip to Fiji. Brave woman…she’ll be here for ten days. Thank you, mom!
Today we go for mani/pedis (me pedi, her mani…no one is allowed to touch her tootsies) and tonight we go to the Barry Manilow concert. I grew up with my mother swooning over BM and my dad mumbling not-niceties under his breath about it. Now as a wife and mother, this totally cracks me up!
That’s it for today…you will be hearing from me a few times this week. I’ve got a few posts scheduled for your viewing pleasure. Thank you for stopping by, hope your day is awesome!
