Masculine Birthday Card Making

When I was brainstorming for my card yesterday, I kept striking out…I tried a few different things, but wasn’t coming up with something that hit a home run for one of my KISS Cards.  So a bunch of pieces of cardstock and scraps laid on my table while I created THIS.

Once I was done with the video, I went back to the scraps and this is what I came up with:

Not too shabby, I think!  My favorite part of this card is how the Happy Birthday is stamped on the background paper and only parts of it can be seen, but you know what it says.

Stampin’ Up Supplies:

  • Curly Cute Stamp Set, Gently Falling Stamp Set
  • Cardstock:  Soft Suede, Pool Party
  • Ink:  Soft Suede, Pool Party, More Mustard
  • Accessoires:  Chevron Embossing Folder, Antique Brads, Sponges, 2-1/2″ Circle Punch, 1-3/8″ Circle Punch, Linen Thread

Next week I’ll be sharing some Christmas cards…stay tuned!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  Ours is full of dancing, swimming, basketball, birthday parties and hopefully some crafting with the kids.

Not too shabby at all for using scraps. :) I like it, especially the leaf hiding in the bottom lower left corner and the antique brad (I love those). TFS!
I am looking forward to seeing more Christmas cards. Thanks for the sneak peek.

Awesome cards! Super simple. My favorite is using the different DSP’s. Love the colors there and with that button…WOW!
