Stampin’ Up Mitten Punch Holiday Card Making

How excited were you when you saw this sweet little mitten punch in the Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog

It’s just adorable and even better, it has not one, but TWO stamp sets that coordinate with it!  The Chock-Full of Cheer (main Stampin’ Up catalog) and Make a Mitten (Holiday Catalog) stamp sets both have fun mitten images to stamp then punch.  See what’s included in these sets at the end of the post.

Here, I simply punched the mittens from the Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper.  I love the bold prints and graphic designs in this paper pack!

The mittens were then attached to the Baker’s Twine with a smidge of Liquid Glue, then to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I had a 2-1/2" Circle Punch already embossed with polka dots sitting on my desk…it didn’t make the cut for another project, but was a perfect backdrop for the mittens.

What a cute card Catherine!!! I just knew I didn’t need that mitten punch but of course you are changing my mind. I already have the Chock full of cheer stamp set and now the greetings of the Seasons stamp set looks pretty tempting. UGH! My wish list keeps growing and growing and growing. hee hee TFS!!!

Omega! This is so stinking cute! I cannot wait to CASE this card. Love the texture on the circle behind the mittens. Unlike Kristie, I knew I had to have that mitten punch, but I didn’t realize how much I like that Greetings of the Season SS. TFS! :)
