Perfectly Preserved Stampin’ Up Back to School Hand Stamped Card (this is #5!)

Do you have a little one that just started or is about to start school?  My “little” one starts SEVENTH grade on Monday.  Ooooh, boy.  How did that happen?  You can see my post from one year ago when she started middle school.  I was a hot mess that day!

The first year of middle school may have been her best year of school so far, so here’s to hoping a continuing trend here!

A couple weeks ago I was playing with the Perfectly Preserved stamp set by Stampin’ Up and stamped a row of apples.  I decided not to use it on the project I was working on and there it sat…right on my desk…I guess I knew it would come in handy!

Yesterday Anna and I did some running around in preparation for school and enjoying one of our last days together before the whirlwind begins.  When I came home, I saw the strip of apples and decided to make a card.  I thought adding this sentiment from the Word Play stamp set made it a perfect first day of school card for Anna.

What do you think?

No pun intended right? (Cooking up another idea…) :)
Anna will love her card; can’t believe she’ll be in 7th grade.

This is so stinking cute! :) I love the row of apples, the colors, pretty much all of it – as usual. I don’t believe you ever make an “ugly” or a “bad” card, do you? :) TFS!
