Thanks to the Mojo Monday sketch for today’s inspiration.  With Father’s Day right around the corner, I thought I’d make a masculine card (another one coming later this week).

View the video to see how this card was made:  (when I was editing I had to laugh at myself…I didn’t seem too enthusiastic, what the heck?  In my defense, today is the first day of having the kids home.  They had iCarly on in the other room distracting me, then I had to stop video-ing a few times to break up the falderall and fist fighting that was going on, LOL!  So there ya go, that’s my excuse!)

A few tips for Masculine Card Making…use:

  • neutral colors with one accent that pops
  • texture
  • graphic patterns
  • sponging

I love this card with all the texture, sponging, and shapes. I love that new paper pack and cannot wait to get it! I had to laugh – we love ICarly here in our house and I actually look forward to new episodes as much as my daughter does. Is that pitiful or what! :) LOL
Thanks for another wonderful card to inspire us!!
