Stampin’ Up Sale-a-bration My Favorites #5 One Layer Card

Happy Friday, friends!  I’m on the couch today with another darned cold.  Yes, this is #11 since I had pneumonia in May.  Absolutely ridiculous!  I should have a counter here in the sidebar.  This is getting old.

I was able to make a One Layer Card for you today, though no video.  We started this series with a pretty simple card.  As the series has gone on, we’ve added layers, embellishments, accessories…

When creating a One Layer Card, focus on layering stamps with different shades of ink and consider adding some texture to your project.  I added some texture using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and just inserted my cardstock partway into the folder.

If you are interested in learning more about One Layer Cards, there are several threads and samples on StampNation.

Thanks to the challenge at Clean and Simple Stamping for the sketch to inspire me!
