Creative Elements Stamp Set – Clean and Simple Cardmaking

The Creative Elements Stamp Set was the very first stamp set on my list in the new Stampin’ Up Idea Book and Catalog this year!  It has so many great images in it…if you like a stamp set that lends itself to creativity and endless possibilities, this is the one!  I can’t wait to stamp more with it!

If you have not yet received your 2011 – 2012 Stampin’ Up Idea Book and Catalog, E-mail me right away for your copy!  My customers get their catalogs for free, so if you plan to purchase Stampin’ Up product through me, let me know!

The sketch at Clean and Simple Stamping really inspired me today and this card came together in a snap!  I simply took a 2-1/2 x 5-1/2" piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock, stamped the fabulous swirly image from the Creative Elements Stamp Set in White Craft Ink.  Then, Early Espresso cut at 2-3/4 x 5-1/2" was perfect to mat the stamped piece.

A small little strip from the Flirtatious Designer Series Paper, cut into a banner at the end with the butterfly accent was perfect for the main image and greeting.

The butterfly was inked in So Saffron, then rolled in Regal Rose (the Rock n Roll technique), stamped, then glittered with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

Oh Catherine, this is such a feminine card and is really pretty. I haven’t done the rock-n-roll technique in awhile…you are such an inspiration. This looks like a fun and versatile set to play with. When’s the next get-together??? It’s been a looooonnnng time…

I absolutely love this card!! I have been on the fence about this set. I love the swirl, but it’s not usually my style of set, but this card especially has sent me over the edge I think. I love white ink on CC, and really love the two tone butterfly. I think I’d have to use some purple rather than pink though just cuz I’m a purple freak!
